This one is from [livejournal.com profile] glasshouseslive. It's hard for me to be this honest regarding myself.

1. What were the best 5 Real Life things that happened in 2002?

a. My Aunt sent me $300 out of the blue
b. I discovered slash
c. I discovered that I like to write
d. I learned to accept that I like things I used to feel guilty about, my entire life. I'm a much happier person now.
e. I realised that due to a dramatic change in how I conduct myself, I am happier and have many new friends.

2. What were the 2 worst? [better to dwell on the good ;-]

a. I discovered a lump on my foot, scared the crap out of me.
b. I was sick constantly, used all my sick time by Spring.

3. What were the *best* fannish things that happened in 2002?

a. I discovered slash at the same time I joined the Ewanspotting fan community, if it wasn't for [livejournal.com profile] rahalia_cat, I'd probably not known that such good fiction exists in the Ewan fandom.

b. I joined [livejournal.com profile] splix yahoo groups and discovered Provocateur.

The influence of both of the above women (not trying to give them swelled heads, just telling the truth) had a profound effect on me, I not only started reading TPM fiction, I also started writing it, as well as a VG WiP that I have yet to finish. So these were the best things fannish that happened to me last year.

c. I met my Master and asked her to be my Master. It has been wonderful and I also gained an Auntie, a padawan cousin and 2 muse padawan cousins. :)

4. What were the worst?

I have only had a positive experience in fannish things. Honestly.

It was a blow, however, the first time I read a story in which Obi-Wan gets murdered or just plains dies of disease or something. I still have trouble reading them, but I understand them more, due to a discussion in my journal and have made my peace with them a little more.
