Get behind the register and away from me!

There's a beauty supply place I sometimes visit that has the most damn obnoxious salesclerks. "Hi, may I help you find anything?" right on your ass as you enter, then even after one has pestered you, another emerges and starts the whole thing all over again. Feels like I'm being scrutinized as a thief, ykwim?

Mind you, I work retail and greeting folks is something I go. But I don't crawl up their asses! I'm a browser, but it's also really easy to get me to go away. I spent money, but since I know I'm an impulsive spender they probably lost a good other $10 to $20 bucks they could have gotten from me.

But, I did get a lovely purple nail polish and it's on my toes now. I should have bought yellow in honor of Floyd Landis being in first place in the Tour de France. But really, who wants yellow nails? *g*

And um, speaking of easy, just based on a few glowing comments from Clara Swift and Mon of the Dead, I, uh, bought a bunch of Lush. *blushes* Yes, that's right, I'm really really easy! LOL
