(no subject)

Migraine today. I woke up at 5:30am after a restless night with a pounding headache that wasn't eased at all by my migraine medicine. Also, I kept smelling toast. Seems like weird phantom smells always accompany the true migraines and not the mere headaches I get from my allergies. I'd close my eyes and see that aura I also get when I have optical migraines. So, I called in to work and the manager, Bev merely says in a "yeah sure" kind of tone, "O-kay." Whatever. I can't believe I used to consider her a friend. She's singularly unsympathetic to employees in general and a worse manager than the one before her and I hated the one before her! LOL

Ah well, at least I'll be able to go in tomorrow. I hated missing, but I refuse to work during one of my hard limits, which are; vomiting, migraines and anything sinus because it oftens leads to pnuemonia. :P
