Note to self

Buy a can opener. That corkscrew, knife, bottle opener thingie is SO not a can opener. Even if you did manage to pry the lid back a mere inch on a can of tuna like the demented starved beast you were at lunch today. And this in front of co-workers. *facepalm*

Note 2: Tousand island dressing is a good seasoning for tuna salad. Bagels are boring without something naughty to put on them and I'm already getting sick of apples. And skim milk sure never be confused with creamer.

Changing my diet is fun! :P

More work fun!

The Receiving Lead made me go to my old floor and look at the mess Erin has made of it. She's gutting the shelves and in some places fanned the books out. WTF? One never fans out books unless it's on a coffee table! She also sent back two massive carts filled with relatively new and books that had only arrived yesterday.

She was also found in the stairwell laying down and acting loopy. Question being did she fall or have a psychotic break? (She's had those at work before, there's an infamous incident in which she freaked out over being constipated.) She's OK, physically. It's her mental state we all wonder about. She was wheeled out, laughing, crying and talking to herself. And Nathan said that she confessed to him some time back that she's stopped taking her medication.

This is the person they put in charge of the biggest selling section of the store, taking it away from me, who has over 15 years experience working with books. What I saw today had me a little misty-eyed. I love Fiction and it's being destroyed by someone who proudly claims to not read.
