I updated on my game journal not here. *sigh*

Anyway, MIL took me to see the doctor yesterday and (drumroll please) I have pnuemonia. It's in an early stage and all, but it's still keeping me out of work until Monday (yay!) It's just as well, today I feel weak like I didn't yesterday. With the decongestant/expectorant the doctor has given me the cold symptoms are pretty much handled now, leaving behind all the other signs I missed while I was hacking my throat to bits: The extreme fatigue, weakness, the ache on the side where I have the pnuemonia (although there's a slight ache on the left as well, I think there was a slight touch of it developing there as well.

Still, I can't think when I've had four days off in a row that wasn't attached to a trip. I have a reserve of DVDs that I haven't gotten to watch yet: Good Will Hunting, Boondock Saints, Oklahoma... I feel almost decadent with this free time. :)

It really sickens me to read people saying that so and so should be shot in the head or a similarly final punishment for harming animals. Punishment, yes, prosecution, yes. Death? Awfully final don't you think? I've been pro death penalty nearly all my life, but, thanks to my husband I'm questioning that stance. What right do any of us have to take a life? What if that person is found innocent later? It's happened before. And these people who commit cruel acts, wouldn't it make us just as bad if we were to say, shoot some guy in the head who shot his puppies? I just wish people would think sometimes, when they make such statements. Especially in a world filled with such violence and mayhem, do we need to contribute to it with vicious, murderous attitudes?
