(no subject)

I don't know what's going on lately. I'd never heard anyone say anything I would consider homophobic in the B&N I work in before. But a few weeks ago, on the same day, two guys made pointed comments about two gay themed books ("Is this the gay table? We're going to have to boycott.") And a woman returned lots of Cds because B&N supports gays.

Yesterday, a man turned over the gay themed books on my table. I don't get it, this is the first time since I've wroked there that people have showed their prejudices. It makes me sick. I have no suggestions, I just feel kinda heartsick.
