New Doctor-my thoughts

Yes, he's young, but he's not a baby, folks! 26 is not 16. And, honest to pete, if you could regenerate, wouldn't you want a new face and body that appeared young? He's supposed to age into this body, not regenerate every 3 years! As for looking like Tennant, I actually think that's a bit on the brilliant side. You know that they will find a way to zap into ArmDoctor's universe. Wouldn't it be lovely to see the expressions on Rose and ArmDoctor's faces when YoungDoctor strolls out of the Tardis?

Also, perhaps they will give us River. Who can say? But a new companion/Doctor angst might be in store (OK, on that score I'm wincing ever so slightly.) But I do love the Doctor Who series, and there have been a few episodes I just wish never to see again. But mostly there has been love. So, in a year or so, lets see what we get and stop freaking out before we've even seen the actor in the Doctor's duds.

Best part of all of this? We still get Doctor Who! Given the state of SF shows, lately, we should be glad of it!
