I'm going to commit sacrilege and declare that glazed Krispy Kremes are better after 24 hours and that warm and fresh ones just disappear in squishy bite of hot air, grease and sugar. So there. :P
In other news, my niece announced recently that she's getting married and picked out her dress yesterday at a store in St Louis. She claims that dresses from her home town are too "Cape". Sadly, I know exactly what this means. *snicker*
Mom is recovering slowly from her surgery. Her incision sites seem to be reluctant to stop being swollen and she's exhausted all the time. Although she seems like she's gotten a burst of energy this evening from a few naps today.
She believes in the power of prayer and isn't picky about which religion or source the praying comes from, so if anyone is so inclined...
