Recently the managers decided to move all the leads around the bookstore and this time I was moved as well, despite my own objections. And this week I haven't been quiet about them in the least. *facepalm* However, yesterday one of the women who hs worked at the store for several years was fired and she called the district manager to wail about all the woes at the store, including that I'd told her that I thought they were trying to make me quit by putting me somewhere that's a strain on my swollen knee and strained heel tendon.
The store manager came to me today all concerned, worried that I really felt like that. So, we sat down and talked and I explained to him my concerns and he agreed to send me back up to where I wanted! I told him I didn't feel valued and he told me that was not the case at all. He was very attentive and listened to everything I said, including some ways I'd like him to be different with me. What a freaking revelation! I thought he was this absolute blowhard who didn't give a good god damn about his employee wants and needs.
So, a few more weeks on this floor they sent me and then I go back up to my favorite floor, home of Fiction and and the fiction related categories. *dances* So happy! :)
