The morning was spent sleeping late, then running to the bank to set up some new accounts. I now own yet another cooler. Whatever happened to free blenders? We had lunch at Kelso's, a pizza place in North KC that's so slow, I think I counted a new wrinkle when I went to the bathroom. And people seated WAY after us got their food, ate it and left while we were still waiting for ours. I give this place a big thumbs down, even if the pizza sauce was freaking awesome with chunks of garlic in it. Still, I'd have liked a browner crusting of the cheese.

In contrast, the bakery next door was cheaper and way tastier. And I got my cheese danish in like, 5 seconds. *g*

Later on, we went to the movies. We paid to see Dark Water and made it a double feature by seeing W0tW *cough* Of the two, DW was the better film. WotW had fantastic special effects, but I felt like, once it was over, that I really didn't see much, beyond that. DW, on the other hand, was lovely and atmospheric. OK, so it's stuff we've seen before. I still enjoyed this take on the whole "is it a ghost, crazy people, crazy main character?" thing.
And Jennifer Connelly is cute as a button, so there! And Dougray Scott and... well, I liked it. :) And I spy the potential for Tim Roth/Dougray Scott slash. If one were so inclined to do so with the characters...
