I've somehow managed to get a staph infection in my eye. It travelled in through the base of an eyelash. Can I say yowch? It's so weird, because I know I've had things like sinus and ear infections during the year or so that I've been able to treat on my own, without antibiotics. But this? You can't just treat a staph infection without help.
It was good to be able to sit down, though, and talk over the whole gluten thing with the nurse. Apparently, with the research I've done and the wonderful advice of my fellow flistees (

junebugged and
j_crew_guy in particular) I have made a lot of the right choices, regarding my gluten free lifestyle. We've also tweaked some of the medication I've been taking, so I can use less expensive choices.
All I can say, regarding Doctor Who is :(
