Now, for the silly

I used to have this picture in my head, when I was younger and I loved Doris Day and Audrey Hepburn movies. In it I was dressed in a shirtwaist dress and pumps. And I would be practically skipping down the street (a city street, no less) smiling at everyone and oh, I dunno, perhaps even singing?

I watched way too much TV when I was young. And I've never danced in a shirtwaist (although I did sew myself one when I was 15, was my favorite dress ever.) And pumps kill my feet. But Sandra Dee looked cute in them.
