(no subject)

The pies are baked. Turkey is in sink, resting in cold water. Cornbread is on stove and looks rather fluffy, souffle-ish for some reason. Could be the extra egg *shrugs*

Tomorrow, for the first time ever, I will be spending Christmas away from my side of the family. Seems so surreal. Also, feels not so exciting, since I see those folks so little as it is. Mom is having a gathering after Christmas for me, though. So really, it's only been delayed.

I still have to wrap hubby's present, so I kept tying to hustle him off, so I cold do that. *g*
