So...

We've been looking at condos. We don't have a huge amount of money to spend, as far as condos go, but we have enough to get us into a place in a decent area. I've been dying to get out of this house. It needs too much done to it and I'd rather not bother with that.

The place I favor is in this complex that looks like a villa. It's very pretty and when the warm weather rolls around I'm told that they decorate the pool area up nicely. Kinda nervous, pretty excited. We could be out of here by Christmas! What better present than to be in a new home, right? *crosses fingers*

More condo talk

I spoke with Joel, the agent who showed us around the condo in the really lovely (but pricey) building downtown. He was really nice until he realised we had chosen an agent. He got huffy and stated, "well, he can't sell you a condo I've already shown you!" Fine, buddy, that condo needed work anyway. And I don't need a hissy fit from a so-called professional. He could have worked with us, still gotten some kinda commission out of the deal, I'm sure. *shrugs* So not concerned.

Besides, we love the neighborhood that the vampire condo is in. Mark is still floored that the owner of it painted the ceiling black and put in dark wine colored carpet. *g* loreleif asked if it had coffins in the basement. *snicker*
