But, what in heaven's name possessed me to play Farscape's Icarus Abides and Daedalus Demands on this particular day? Ack, always makes me cry! And I never watch them.
OK, one thing to say. Peter David said in his own particular post that the world didn't change 5 years ago, just our perceptions. I say it has changed profoundly. We're a scared at it's own shadow kind of planet that has turned into a kill or be killed mentality. I'd say that's the worst kind of change.
Two flistees commented in a recent post of mine how their countries are treated when our leader visits them. Cars, trash cans taken off streets, people having to request permission to enter their own residences. Doesn't sound like a happy world that terrorism and fear hasn't changed, to me.
