You know there's something strangely satisfying about walking around wearing a shirt that declares you, "irreversibly contaminated." Had it on today with my camo cords and orange Kangaroos and man, I really needed to find me a comic book convention! Actually, I do! I haven't been to one in ages and the most recent had (or will have, can't remember if it's happened yet) really lackluster guests. The best one being the guy who played Chewbacca. So, yeah, not interested in spending $12 to get in to see him, no disrespect to Chewie.

Went shopping with the hubby. Got my hair cut today while he went into Hobby Town. The jury's still out on how I feel about the actual cut. I do this every year or so, I forget just why I don't get layers cuts in my hair. Because. It. Sucks. Ah well, fast as my hair grows, I can get rid of the layers in a few months if I despise them so greatly.

I went into a shop that had lots of little girly things: beaded purses, beaded hair scrunches, ect. And the woman would not leave me alone for a single freaking second. "You get this, yes? You get 50% off the second. Ah, yes, that color good too, you get two." *sigh* I ended up buying a couple elastic hair thingies that were made with eyelash yarn, and nothing else. I have to browse, I can't be bullied.

Anyway, so after that bit, I went and found Mark still perusing the models. He couldn't decide on a plane or building another model of the sub from Das Boot. He settled on a model of the Hood. I guess next he'll need to get a model of the Bizmarck. ;)

Did other stuff, got a trackball, went home, installed Return to Castle Wolfenstein and that's how we spent our evening, tag teaming playing this computer game. I suck, at computer games, btw. I get flustered and die a few times before I make it through each level. I guess I get my money's worth! All in all, not a bad day. :)
