Female hunting spoils (shopping)

I was too restless to spend all day watching TV or hanging out on the computer, so hubby and I went shopping. Well, he browsed, I'm the one who spent money. As usual, LOL.

I was looking at purses at TJ Max and yeah, there were some not so bad choices. A few in particular that I liked, even. But the colors? Pink. WTF is up with all the pink everywhere this year for Spring? Mind you, I'm not squicked by girly. But $179 handbag in pink suede is so not practical for this working girl. I could never set it on the ground, or god, probably not even on a chair. One smudge and goodbye $179! *sigh* Couldn't the designers have at least made a few in a light tan? Or a black, or even better, something not suede?

The day wasn't a total loss, I found a wool cap made in Scotland for $5 and silver bracelet in some kind of cross hatch design (love it!)for $19.99. I feel all mighty with the victory of money well spent. Excuse me while I go primal howl to the moon.
