Sucking
I've realised today that I've been having hot flashes the past several weeks. I knew something was up, I didn't feel myself. Then today, a flush of heat then cold. I talked to a work friend, also describing the acne I've been plagued with all Fall and this Winter, all classic symptoms of perimenopause.
I was fine with it at first, it just a natural function, yada yada. But frankly, I'm angry. I was one of those girls who started her period early, now apparently that phase of my life is in the process of changing 1 1/2 months before my 40th birthday.
I've never been pregnant, I always wanted children, it didn't happen. I'm sure the large amount of X-rays I had as a child when I had tumors in my ear played a large part in this.
Nonetheless, I feel cheated, no babies and now this.
