WTF?

I dropped my phone in water last night. And not just any water, but dirty mop water that I hadn't emptied after cleaning the floor, yesterday. It hit the water and made glugging sounds as it filled with water, the display light glowing in the murky depths of the bucket.

I looked online for replacement phones, since I've been wanting a better phone anyway, but the most I could figure is that I really don't want another Tracfone. The minutes are expensive and the signal strength isn't the best. I mean, I see people walking around talking in my store on their phones all the time. Yet mine doesn't get service, in the basement or elevators.

So, as a Christmas present, I will be getting a 'good' phone. I'm not sure if I want to go with a contract or another phone that lets me pay as I go. I'm kinda leaning towards the latter. I do know that in the year and a half I've had a cell phone, I've become quite dependent on knowing that I have an 'out' if I get somewhere I need rescuing from. Or if I need to tell something to someone that just can't wait. But I've rarely ever just talked on the thing. So, that's something to think about, when I make my decision.

And god help me. I can't help but giggle when I think of how I ruined my phone. Leave it to me. *heavy eye roll at self*
