We got the condo!
Talked to the mortgage lady today and she said that not only had we gotten the loan, but that all the stuff she'd asked from me wasn't even requested by them. It's what they called a paperless approval, I believe. It boggles my mind to think that our credit is that good. I really, to be quite honest, thought that we'd have fair to middling credit.
The place is so nice. Not terribly huge, but there's only the two of us after all. The kitchen is newly renovated, as well as the bathroom. I have an enormous amount of closets and one so large it will be my computer room. The bedroom has his and her closets, so there won't be fussing over what goes where. In fact Mark is saying he wants to put the TV in his so we can close the door on it. We'll see.
But, we'll be in my Thanksgiving and for Christmas this year we'll stay in town and enjoy the best present we ever gave ourselves. Plus, the ladies at work are all making comments about my needing to have a housewarming. I'm just floored. And rather touched. It really does feel like things are finally picking up for me. :)
