I enjoy my job
I really do. But stuff like constant theft and teenagers coming in and acting stupid kinda fuck with the "like my job" zen. Today, a group of teenagers, wearing clothes that were trendy when I was a teenager, wandered onto my floor and found a romance novel to mock. I allowed this to go on for a few minutes. I'm not a total bitch, after all and I think kids should be able to have fun and not have adults up their asses for every little thing.
But still, after answering a call and coming back over and they are reading smut passages out loud I had to call them on it. Telling them to keep it down to a dull roar and some people might find the language offensive, thank you so very much! Unfortunately they were realtively good kids and did as I told them, so I didn't get to, you know, wear the bitch shoes for more than just that once. *g*
A man came over afterwards and thanked me. Which made me feel good.
